The position as a Business Development Manager has two main areas of responsibility. Commercial development of customers and market development leading to new/larger customers. You have a broad interface with major customers throughout the world and the organization will give good opportunities to put your own mark on your daily working day and your assignments.
You manage commercial projects, act as single point of contact for customers during the business development phase, analyse customer requirements and translate them into efficient operational solution response.
You prepare commercial proposals and prepare customer presentations. You analyse markets/sectors and identify service requirements and translate them into sector oriented service offerings. You develop market plan and approaches. Active networking and pick-up leads for Global Account projects are also concrete assignments. Intensive business travel is part of the job but mainly one or two days at the time.
The organization is a logistics service provider in the north of Limburg, which focuses on designing, implementing and managing total logistics concepts in order to add value to the supply chain of its customers. The organization has offices in more than 50 countries.
